Tom and I are leaving for Canada tomorrow. The plan is to travel through the US (stopping to visit friends and anything else that we find interesting) and to continue on to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. We will spend around 3-4 weeks there and then venture through Canada (Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto and points in between) and then back through the Indiana and Oklahoma to visit friends and family. We anticipate returning to Denver the first week of October.
We went on a 10 day camping trip 2 weeks ago to Grand Junction, Ouray, Telluride, and Durango and experienced multiple camper failures (propane leak, plumbing leak, bad tire, etc., etc.). So Tom spent the last week getting the camper fixed up and ready to go. This is the seventh camping season for our trusty camper so we were not that upset about the problems – just grateful we found them in time for fix them at our house vs. on the road. Here is the camper sitting in the driveway β ready to be hooked up.

I have spent time organizing things (one needs more stuff when going for 2 months vs. 10 days). More stuff means more need for organization or we will be living in abject squalor (admittedly that might be an exaggeration).
We will update you on our journey as we get time and internet connectivity. We had a blog when we did our 3 month journey to AK in 2013 and ended out posting updates from some pretty weird places due to the lack of reliable internet. I suspect we may experience a similar situation during this trip.
Remember something warmππ… oh you have Tomππ
