Today we will set off for Montreal. We are not sure yet where we will camp- wish we could find a place in Montreal like Camping de Joie (that was in Quebec City)
The drive was very slow. Lots of road construction and then…thick fog.

The fog was very pea soup(ish) at times. Of course, there were also beware of moose signs everywhere. The last time Tom and I drove in fog in moose country we almost hit one (back in Newfoundland) so we were a bit concerned.
We were excited when we saw of first signs of Montreal. This is a bad photo, but it is a Montreal first sighting 😊

We found a bit of an odd campground. It is next to the Marina that is in Longueuil (across the river from Montreal). It is odd because it has electricity, but no showers. It also has a gate attendant working 24X7. In any case, we are excited about the close proximity to Montreal.
After setting up we headed into Montreal Chinatown. I do not believe we have had any Asian food since we left Denver, so we’re hoping for a treat. To get there we first had to cross the river.

We found a parking spot right away (quite amazing) and went to Nouilles de Lan Zhou. It is a tiny little Chinese noodle place. They have a man out front whose sole job is to make noodles and smile at the tourists. He does an excellent job of both.

Tom and I each ordered a different noodle bowl. His had beef, mine had pork, both delicious.
After driving back to the camper (which was super stressful due to the EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE nature of Montreal drivers) we began plotting our strategy for the next day (which hopefully will NOT involve driving the car in downtown Montreal).

I do not know what I think of the idea of Canadian-Asian food. It looks good though.
