Tom asked me our destination for today and I said “Parc National Du-Fjord Du-Saguenay.He responded, “Great. Why did you choose that park?”. My response: “I never met a Fjord that I did not like”. That seems to be a good motto that I am going to stick with because this area is no exception.
The camping area is nice – wooded spots with lots of space in between and there are showers and laundry, but it is more expensive than the other provincial parks where we have camped.
We set off for the Visitor Center after setting up camp and went for a short hike on Sentier des Meandres-a-Falaises. Tom speaks no French and I had one puny semester while in college so we are a hot mess when trying to read signs.

We were rewarded with nice views of the river and the surrounding mountains.

We then drove out to visit L’Anse-De-Tabatiere as the park information stated it was a “must-do”. It was about a 45 minute drive to get there with road construction along the way. I was excited that we got to drive on a covered bridge.

L’Anse-De-Tabatiere did not disappoint. We enjoyed gazing at the beautiful scenery and decided we were uber glad we came to this park.

We visited the grocery store earlier in the day (yet another adventure since, again, everything is in French), so we were stocked up on goodies. Tom grilled a wonderful pork tenderloin that we had along with fried potatoes and salad. Not quite as great as our meals in Quebec city, but still yummy.
