Originally, we had planned to take 2 days to drive from OK City to Denver, but we got an early start and went the distance.
We went through Kansas
We were very excited when we saw the I-70 sign – a very familiar highway
It was fun to see the first sign in 2 months that said “Denver”
After 61 days and 10,600 miles we are home. During this trip we visited 6 provinces:
- New Brunswick
- Nova Scotia
- Newfoundland
- Prince Edward Island
- Quebec
- Ontario
And visited or drove through 14 states:
- Colorado
- Iowa
- Nebraska
- Illinois
- New York
- Pennsylvania
- New Hampshire
- Vermont
- Maine
- Michigan
- Indiana
- Missouri
- Oklahoma
- Kansas
The trip was spectacular. We saw, experienced, and ate so many wonderful things. We will be forever grateful to our various friends and family that hosted us and to all of the wonderful people that we met along the way that made the trip so special.
We are now off to plan the next trip(s) 😊
